Long Island Photo Workshop

All students attending a course will receive achievement merits from the Professional Photographers of America, Inc. (if a member) and a certificate from the Long Island Photo Workshop

Classes start at 9 am Monday morning, August 2nd. The last day of class will be on Thursday afternoon, August 5th. The graduation banquet will follow that evening.

A deposit of $150.00 is required with each application. There is a 10% discount on tuition for spouses and children of registered applicants.

No refunds will be issued after July 20th. Tuition includes a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee.

Tuition includes: all model fees, class photograph, Summer Workshop T-shirt, lunch each day and Graduation Banquet on Thursday evening.

Balance of fee is due when you arrive and register at 8:30 am Monday, August 2nd.

The Workshop will take place this year at the Sheraton Long Island Hotel, 110 Vanderbilt Motor Parkway, Smithtown, Long Island, NY 11788

There you can get directions and hotel information. If you require lodging, mention the Long Island Photo Workshop in order to get the room rate of $114.00, but you must make reservations no later than July 7, 2010 Accomodations are available for Saturday, July 31-Thursday, August 5, 2010

There will be NO SMOKING allowed inside any classroom or in the Workshop's operating area.

Every year members of PPGNY are offered opportunities to increase their knowledge and skills by actively participating in our organization. Along with monthly lectures, PPGNY provides the LONG ISLAND PHOTO WORKSHOP, a Winona affiliate, as just such an opportunity. Every year there are two full scholarships given to deserving members of PPGNY: the Alvin L. Friedman and Anthony Marchisotto Memorial Scholarships. In addition, there are several $100.00 scholarships donated by our sponsors. To be considered for these scholarships, you must be a current member of PPGNY. Please send a letter of request to Ronald J. Krowne, Student Liaison, or any trustee.

The Long Island Photo Workshop, Inc. shall have no responsibility for the acts, errors or omissions of instructors, staff, or other providers of services to participants in the course of the Workshops.
